Full Story: Voice Hidden in the Fog
Bilal Khan never believed in ghosts and spirits. He was a simple-minded young man. When he got a job guarding an old, deserted mansion outside the village, Bilal accepted without hesitation.
The villagers used to tell scary stories about this mansion. Some said that a woman's cry could be heard there at night, some said that someone had seen a light burning, although the electricity in the mansion had been cut off many years ago.
Bilal considered all these stories to be imaginary.

The First Day
As soon as he entered the mansion, a cold breeze greeted him. The walls were covered in mold, the floor was dusty, and the windows were broken. Bilal swept, cleaned, and turned on an old heater to prepare for bed.
Suddenly, in the middle of the night, the door opened with a "squeak."
Bilal woke up startled. "Who is it?"
There was no answer, but a faint woman's voice echoed through the cold air:
"Help..."

The Old Secret
Bilal heard the voice again the next night. Sometimes it came from the stairs, sometimes from the back room of the mansion. Instead of being afraid, he was now filled with curiosity.
One night, following the voice, he reached the basement of the mansion. There was an old wooden box. When Bilal opened it, an old letter and a picture were found inside.
The letter read:
> "My name is Zahra. The owner of this hut had imprisoned me. My soul is still waiting for freedom. If any sincere person reads this letter, please pray for me and spread my remembrance to the people so that my name can emerge from the mists of time and come into the light."
Bilal's eyes became moist. He immediately went to the mosque and prayed for Zahra, and told the villagers the whole truth.

The end — a new light
The next night, the hut was quiet. No sound, no shadow.
Bilal went to the basement for the last time and prayed. When he returned, a faint light fell on him, and a soft voice came:
"Thank you..."
After that day, the hut was never scary. The villagers now came there to read the Quran, pray. Bilal Khan is still remembered today — as a person who showed a lost soul the path to light.
